who we are

We are a non-profit educational institution with the purpose of promoting family improvement, providing family bible based education and the creation of resources for the teaching of diverse topics of relevance to the family in digital and printed formats. We collaborate with non-profit, educational institutions and private organizations in order to provide teaching for family and marriage within a context relevant to the Latino culture. We work with groups of all ages, teaching and training those who work with them, such as: Teachers, marriage leaders, Sunday school teachers, youth groups, single parents and marriages.

SEMINARS

We give seminars on different topics related to the family. The content of the seminars, as well as their extension, are flexible in order to adapt to the particular needs of each organization.

• MARRIAGE BIBLICAL MINISTRY We provide bible based education to families and couples who are going through difficult times. We believe that through biblical teaching we can find help to get ahead in the problems that arise every day in family life.
• RETREATS We have developed teaching programs and activities for churches where participation and reflection of the participants in the topics presented is encouraged. The dynamics, exercises, teaching and support material are focused on reinforcing the biblical values related to the family and the development of new skills to solve the different situations of everyday.
• CONFERENCES We have a wide variety of topics focused on the family. Every subject is developed and presented with cultural relevance from a Latino perspective. Each theme is developed considering three premises: 1.The reality the Latino families live in their different countries and cultural context. 2. The problems that families experience when migrating and having to integrate into a new culture. 3. The point of view of the second and third generations that has born and growth locally but embrace the culture of their parents.
• TRAINING We train churches teachers, teaching them creative ways to present Bible teaching. We also train married couples and ministers who work with couples in crisis through a seminar of practical focus, based on real cases and with broad biblical support.
• WORKSHOPS We present different workshops with practical and creative teaching in order to develop new skills in marriages and participating individuals.

Objective of the seminar Provide tools focused on training ministries and individuals who work with couples and marriages, with the biblical principles to correct and prevent possible problems in the relationship, taking into account the dynamics of the Latino family. Course content The seminar consists of 8 classes of 2 hours with the following format: • Exposition of the central subject • Case studies analysis • Discussion of the different options that are presented when dealing with different situations with a marriage or a couple. Subjects • The purposes of marriage • The choice of the couple • The problems of marriage • The consequences of marriage • Communication in marriage • Sexuality in marriage • The enemies of marriage • The dangers of marriage. The student receives a workbook manual with the contents of all the topics. Requirements • Have orientation to the marriage ministry. • Have experience ministering to couples and couples. • Be active members of a Christian congregation or organization. • Have pastoral support. • Understand the model of biblical marriage between a man and a woman. Cost $ 150.00 per person. $ 250.00 per couple. The seminar can be taught in church facilities for groups of three or more couples.

2. THE STRONGEST LINK: THE COUPLE Seminar aimed at couples and couples who want to learn new techniques to solve problems and collaborate within the relationship. Formed by four modules with the following themes: • Commitment • Communication • How to solve problems • Keeping passion
3. MAXIMIZED FATHERHOOD Seminar focused on counselors, parents and men who are planning to get married or have children. Formed by 5 modules with the following topics: • The challenges of the father of the 21st century • Knowing our children. • The best fathers are men. • Parent-child relationship. • Technologies that the father of the 21st century must know.
4. CHRISTIAN CHILD EDUCATION Seminar aimed at Sunday school teachers who want to learn creative and dynamic ways of teaching the Bible. Formed by 8 modules to choose with the following topics: • Educating to educate • Knowing children • The teacher as minister • Dealing with children with difficult behavior • Multiple intelligences workshop • Handicrafts workshop • How to organize the Bible school • How to plan a class effectively
5. YOUTH DEVELOPMENT Seminar focused on teachers of young people, pastors, parents and youth in general. Formed by four modules with the following themes: • The importance of knowledge. • Sexuality and youth • The choice of the couple. • The dangers of youth. • The enemies of youth.
6. HOW TO AVOID MARRYING A JERK Seminar aimed at young people and individuals who want to learn how to identify the signs of a good couple who later becomes a good husband or a good wife and thus avoid marrying someone who is not suitable.
7. HEALTHY FINANCES Seminar aimed at anyone who wants to learn how to have healthy finances. Made up of the following modules: • Biblical principles about finances • Record of expenses • How to make a budget • How to get out of debt.
8. STRESS MANAGEMENT Seminar focused on learning what stress is and techniques to reduce it. Made up of the following modules: • Understanding stress • Stress and personal well-being • Managing stress • How to increase the resilience of stress
9. WITHIN OUR REACH Seminar focused on teaching the importance of recognizing the resources that are at hand for solving problems within marriage.
